Bruce loved his dog Gizmo.
In the 46 years of Jersey Sky Devils flying club meetings I’ve attended,
Gizmo was the only dog, the only animal, to ever attend our meetings.
No one ever said a word.
It was just how we felt about Bruce.
You may be familiar with the saying, Be the person your dog thinks you are.
Bruce was that person.
I know this for sure because I had a talk with Gizmo.
He agrees!
Bruce lived his life by the Spiritual Laws that govern the Universe, and it
served him well.
We all know what they are.
Everyone grieves in their own way.
I am angry.
Maybe some of you are too.
I am angry because 47 years is not enough.
I am angry because something beyond our control took our beloved
Bruce.
Bruce can stay in our consciousness as long as we want him too.
So let’s replace our anger. We can keep him around forever if we do as he would do – in his honor.
